Recently, Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall report with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Defective Automotive Product Recall Management Regulations" and the "Implementation Measures of the Defective Automotive Product Recall Management Regulations" plan.

It has been decided to recall some imported 2019 Jaguar I-PACE pure electric vehicles produced between June 21, 2018 and October 2, 2018, from now on, a total of 113 vehicles.

Due to manufacturing reasons, the power batteries of some vehicles within the scope of this recall may cause internal short circuits in the cells, causing thermal overload. In extreme cases, the power battery may catch fire, posing a safety hazard.

Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the power battery packs for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge, or repurchase the vehicles to eliminate safety hazards. Users can choose one of the two options. Vehicle buyback will be implemented from now on, and replacement of power battery packs is expected to be implemented from November 1, 2024.

Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will notify relevant users of the recall through registered mail or other means.
