Recently, we obtained the patent drawing of BYD's new SUV model from the State Intellectual Property Office. From a design perspective, the new car is expected to be a new member of BYD's warship series.
As you can see from the picture, the new car uses the same design elements as the Destroyer 05. The multiple chrome-plated trim strips across the middle grille are iconic design elements and look layered. Judging from the patent drawings, the new car does not adopt the popular hidden door handle design. The side lines are in a standard SUV style, the square body looks more burly, and the taillights adopt a through-type design.
In terms of power, it is expected that the new car will also be equipped with the DM-i super hybrid system, powered by Xiaoyun -It is composed of a 1.5L high-efficiency engine dedicated to plug-in hybrids, an EHS electric hybrid system, and a power blade battery dedicated to DM-i super hybrids. Among them, the 1.5L engine has a maximum power of 81kW and a peak torque of 135N·m. The new car also provides two sets of EHS electric hybrid systems to choose from, namely EHS132 and EHS145. The maximum power of the motor is 132kW and 145kW respectively, and the peak torque of the motor is 316N·m and 325N·m respectively.
Previously, BYD had registered multiple names related to "warships", such as destroyers, cruisers, battleships, landing ships, and frigates. wait. The current name of the new car has not been made public. I believe it will be one of the registered names, and we will continue to pay attention.
